Program
Welcome to our Partner Acrobatics 10-day Foundational Teacher Training Program! Explore the foundations of acrobatics in an immersive experience that fosters communication, trust, and teamwork, all of which are crucial skills for aspiring acrobatics teachers.
Dive into the world of Dutch and circus-style acrobatics, handstands, washing machines, trios, and therapeutics under our expert guidance. At the core of our programs lies the commitment to sustainability. Because we want to be able to practice continuously, our Prehab program integrates proper alignment and sports science principles to enhance performance and minimize the risk of pain and injuries.
Partner Acrobatics creates a secure and encouraging community for those embarking on their journey to become effective and inspiring acrobatics teachers. For this reason, our Foundational teacher training focuses on mastering partner acrobatics techniques, including alignment, biomechanics, and injury prevention.
Through our teaching methodology, we deconstruct progressions and employ a sports science approach. We encourage and support you to develop your unique teaching style, influenced by the latest principles of neuroscience and motor learning, coupled with our extensive teaching experience. With these tools and skills, you will be able to successfully teach acro classes and workshops for instance.

On some days, the handstand or acro class will be a practice teaching session, where students are teaching each other. During these sessions, you will get the chance to practice teaching classes with different co-teachers and on different subjects. Preparing these classes will be your own responsibility in break-times and on rest days.
If you are working online, take into account that you might be able to work 1 or 2 hours a day maximum, if you are disciplined. The course will ask both your time and attention and in our experience it will be challenging to add too much else to the daily schedule.
There will be 2 days where we schedule a morning or afternoon of rest, to balance out the physical activity. Note that these time might be used for preparing your own classes.
